Myanmar V-Pile company was founded in 1996 specialised in pile foundation construction, beginning with a patented indirect hydraulic jacking system. In 2000, FMI Co.,Ltd and Dr Sone Han ( the current Chairman of V-Pile Holdings Co.,Ltd) purchased the company. It was then listed as a subsidiary company under “Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd”, one of the first publicly listed companies on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in 2006.

Realising the market niche and rarity of technical engineering firms with expertise in pile foundation works in the local market, Dr Sone Han bought up all shares of Myanmar V-Pile Co.,Ltd which then became stand-alone company since 2007. With the vision of planning to become the point of reference for Foundation Engineering in Myanmar, the group progressively update pile foundation technology and expand into bored piling, driven piling, micropiling, sheet piling and hydraulic pressing (silent piler) technology.

One of the subsidiaries of V-Pile Holdings Co., Ltd is First Myanmar Construction Co.,Ltd and it is one of the leading construction companies in Myanmar especially in infrastructure and foundation works. The portfolio illustrates construction of residential and commercial housing developments, affordable housing, construction of bridges, roads, retaining walls and embankments, jetties and wharfs.

With the growth of business, the group set up a joint venture with Japan Pile Corporation, Japan’s largest and general foundation engineering company in 2017 and VJP factory currently manufactures Spun pile, nodular pile and steel-concrete composite pile in the use of new technology for pile installation.
